Another great result for the vastly-improving Vikings.
Starting the game with the strong wind, a good set piece work from the forwards gave the greyhound backs a great platform to play off.
It took the Vikings a while to get the better of a stubborn BP side but Jordan Holloway broke the deadlock on 15 minutes with a great worked try, converted by Rowley.
Vikings then found their groove and scored 3 more tries from Tom Monsey and two from Tom
Anderson, and another conversion by Rowley by half time – giving Vikings a 24-0 lead.
Going into the wind now, great structure put in place from Skipper Rossol in midfield. Conlin and Rowley dictated the tempo of the game giving White, Monsey, Ward, Dixon and Winger Anderson space to run into.
With Man of the Match Tom Anderson scoring 5 tries in total.
Another well organised game from the Vikings backs, with the pack doing their individual and collective jobs well. Special mention to Jack Ireland on a fantastic game, not only in the tight, but around the field. Holloway, Sargeant, Readman and Elmsley where great lieutenants in the forwards.
Thank you to the Vikings and Danesman players who helped BP out, bolstering there squad fantastic attitude and great performances.
Craig Bone was again impressed by the great attitude and good discipline of all the players, that won the day at Silver Royd on Saturday.
