W 52-12

A must win game against top of the table rivals Beverley.

Two quick tries from Dudley Sargeant and Tom Anderson both converted by Captain Rowley, sadly a bad injury to a Beverley player mid way through the first half stopped the pulsating game for a while.

Just before the halftime break Beverley got a well-deserved try to leave the half time score 14-5 in favour of the Vikings.

The Vikings now with the ascendancy with Conlin and Rowley orchestrating everything, further tries came Jeffrey and two from Anderson for his hat trick again all converted by Rowley then after some time with the ball Beverley put together a few phases to score themselves a good team try.

Then the Scarborough staff got involved Barons Manager Paul White scores a brace of tries, the first one straight off the training paddock the best try of the day if not this season. Not to be undone Operations Manager Graeme Jeffery scored with excellent off loads from Tom Read Craig Fairbairn and Tom Morrell. Beverley who never gave up in scored two more tries to make the game finish 52-12

New lad Matty Oxtoby played his first game this season and made a big impact, along with Nellist, Peate, Fish, Day Redmond giving great set piece, Holloway, Emsley and Hutchinson where just a menace to Beverley from the first whistle. Captain Rowley kicking 6 out of 8 conversations.

The result even though a great team incredible team effort, we have to do it again next week against Malton to secure our top 4 place in the playoffs.

We wish the Beverley player all the very best with his recovery.
